| My favorite partner (pictured to my left) is literally just that. He is my partner in life, parenthood and photography. Rob is a true renaissance man. He studied engineering, anthropology and theater lighting in college and graduated with a B. A. in liberal arts from SUNY Stony Brook. He has since added computer science, teaching certification in elementary education, middle school math and science to his resume. He has been shooting since college and has had a lifelong love of photography. In 1993, Rob founded ROB & SAS Photography with his lovely wife, SAS (that’s me). Together we created images for our stock agency, did magazine assignments and ad work in NYC. After the birth of our two children and our move to the suburbs, we began to photograph more and more families and made a natural transition to the private sector. Rob is always my first choice to compliment any wedding coverage. He has always had a unique perspective and quite wisdom to his photographs. But don’t let his calm demeanor fool you…. He is a keen observer and documents otherwise unnoticed moments. He is equally creative on a portrait shoot. He can be found doing humorous things over my shoulder … or having a spontaneous shoot with the kids while I photograph mom and dad. Rob would be an incredible asset to any photo shoot.
